RNR challenges its stores to outperform each other every month and they deliver! RNR Custom Wheels and Tire Express recently recognized Marco Morantes, manager of Tampa store #304, as the Store of the Month for June 2014. Seen here at the recent managers’ meeting held in Ocala, Florida, Mr. Morantes is taking the hand-off from Gregg Winfrey, a store manager in Bradenton, who received the trophy in May. Mr. Morantes and team held the trophy in February and March, before handing it over to Mr. Winfrey’s team in April. Each month, the trophy is presented by the current holder to the new recipient based on top points awarded in six performance categories. Mr. Winfrey vowed to get the trophy back at the end of July.
Larry Sutton, President and Founder of RNR Custom Wheels and Tire Express, stated: “We have a very competitive group of store managers and this monthly award forms the basis of the coveted Manager of the Year Award, which is handed out at the company’s annual meeting in January. This year has just been phenomenal, as every store is at their highest level in our history. Every month so far this year has been a record breaker, and we owe this to the store managers and their teams for keeping their eyes on our number one goal: To focus on our customers while providing the best customer experience in the wheel and tire industry.”
The “Store of the Month” competition was fostered as a fun way to challenge each RNR Store to improve every month, and it has worked. Says Mr. Sutton, “Luckily, we have store managers with teams that are goal-oriented and like to have a good time. Everyone seems to enjoy the challenge this contest presents, and our team members just keep making RNR even better.”
